We’re all about the comforts. So we’ve made sure we offer all the important features that make all the difference to your stay with us. From the Gun Room for safe storage, to the Snug Lounge for your after-pursuit tipple. Our outdoor terrace makes for a delightful al fresco afternoon tea or sunset beverage spot. And the kennels keep your canines cosy for the duration of your stay.
Garden & Terrace
Looking out from our Bistro is our large spacious 30-seater, heated, two-tier terrace, a beautiful garden and lawn. At the bottom of the garden is our Chef’s very own veg patch for earth-to-table homegrown goodies.
The terrace is a gem of a spot, south facing, ideal for those summer sun-downer evening drinks with friends, watching the day turn to starry night. Enjoy cocktails, beers, wines and Champagne listening to gentle house background music.
Drying & Gun room
A drying room on the ground floor provides heater cabinets and boot racks, and for those here shooting, a secure double gun cabinet is assigned to your individual room.
Kennels
Dogs are very welcome. So especially handy for those going shooting we have five comfortable kennels with water provided for your loyal canine friends.
Dogs are also allowed in your room, but not in any of the communal areas including the Bistro, Garden or Residents Lounge.
Lounge
On the ground floor just past the reception is our cosy Lounge, open 24/7 for residents. Drinks can be served between 9am – 9pm and hot food is also served from 10.30 am during the week and 11.30am on weekends until 4pm. So if morning coffee, small plate snacks, luxurious afternoon teas and evening drinks are your thing you’ll feel right at home.
