11 individual bedrooms range in size and character from intimate and cosy to large and spacious. Each has its own unique character and are named taking inspiration from the local area and the places that the Cook family hold close to their hearts. Designed with absolute comfort in mind, you’ll find tactile furnishings, both classic and modern details, special features including exquisite artwork from local artists on the walls, and all the little luxuries you could want for a cosy retreat to make you feel right at home.

Room Types

Cosy
The cosiest of all, they’re small but perfectly formed with everything you could need for your stay.

Luxury
Bigger than a Cosy but still very cosy. Full of unique features and all the finest touches.

Mother Superior’s
Larger in size and big on character. These suites also have oversized heavenly bathtubs for the perfect soak.

The Chapel
The Mother of all Superiors. This suite is full of fine features, respectful to its original purpose, and maintaining its beautiful stained glass circular window. This room also includes an oversized heavenly bathtub for the perfect soak.

Room Features

All rooms feature our signature drench showers. All have oversized fluffy towels, fine English linen on Hypnos beds, deliciously scented toiletries from Penhaligon’s classic and elegant Blenheim Bouquet range, oversized flat screen televisions, complimentary water, super-fast wi-fi – convenient for those must-do emails, and in-house coffee from Pumphreys of Northumberland complimented by a range of English teas and infusions.

And of course, home-made cookies from your Cookie Jar.
